"The great majority of men are bundles of beginnings." -Ralph Waldo Emerson

Let's call this my next beginning....I was without a computer for two months and am slow to get back to the "posting." Anyway-the mail came and with it my Christmas in April. I finally redeemed my Cheap Joe's gift certificate and am looking forward to trying out this new palette. The monster one I was using did not travel well. I also must, must, must recommend a new book I purchased after watching the artist/author do a webvideo. Her name is Shirley Trevena http://www.shirleytrevena.com/and her book is "Taking Risks With Watercolor.

Oh, I have that book, and a video of hers--I love her wild, creative work. She's a wonderful artist, isn't she?

Hi Katrina, I just bought Shirley's book AND video and really love it! Glad to know you have been inspired too! Your work is just breathtaking and so glad I found your blog! We have a lot in common.. I work in many different styles and have gotten more serious about watercolor. Zentangles were my passion a few years ago and I still do them now and then. And I never stop drawing! Best to you!
