Favorite thing to do?…………filling my pockets with found beach rocks. Another favorite……playing with watercolor on YUPO. So naturally I come to these very small paintings of beach rocks.

Back to the Lake
The lake, the beach, the rocks and sand are such an influence on my paintings. This one (done on location) probably has bits of sand right in it!

Getting back out there
I’ve been busy….two paintings for the Cass Area Artist show and two paintings in the member show at South Haven Center for the Arts these past couple months. It feels good to gather and create and just “hang out” with other artists

.....maybe next year
Today I am matting some "Smalls" (6x6)
This year has been one of time......time to be super productive and creative. I feel that if I keep it up I could have enough pieces to make a nice showing at an art fair next year. I guess I'll be asking for a white tent for Christmas!

Stay at Home
I took a break from watercolor to do some gelliplate printing...it's just fun and fast and full of surprises. I made very simple stencils for houses and layered till I was happy with what I had.
